About Us
Where It All Began
My journey into holistic healthcare began over 30 years ago, sparked by personal health challenges that first appeared when I was just 17 years old. Facing severe knee pain that conventional methods struggled to resolve, I was inspired to seek a more profound understanding and comprehensive solutions.
My pursuit led me to physiotherapy, where I discovered the importance of treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. In 1999, while collaborating with Liston, I was introduced to naturopathy, enriching my perspective and broadening my approach to health. In further deepening my expertise, I earned my diploma in homoeopathy in 2005, solidifying my commitment to a balanced, integrated approach.
Today, I combine these experiences and skills into a holistic practice, providing compassionate care that addresses the root causes of illness, encourages self-healing, and empowers lasting well-being.
Today…
I am a caring, experienced healthcare professional dedicated to holistic and naturally-based healing. With over 25 years of practice, I emphasise attentive listening and thorough assessments, tailoring each treatment uniquely to support the body’s natural healing ability.
My multifaceted approach integrates physiotherapy, naturopathy, homoeopathy, and lifestyle strategies, ensuring clients feel respected, understood, and empowered in their wellness journey. Working with me, you can expect genuine care, insightful guidance, and ongoing support for lasting health and well-being.

Frequently asked questions about Holistic Healthcare Practitioner in Warkworth NZ
Q: Can I see Eugene even if I’m already working with other practitioners?
Yes—absolutely. Eugene regularly collaborates with GPs, medical specialists, and other allied health professionals. As a practitioner in Warkworth, his role is to support—not replace—your existing care.
His approach is complementary and integrative, meaning he respects medical diagnoses and treatments while offering additional insights drawn from physiotherapy, naturopathy, and homoeopathy. Many clients in New Zealand come to the Living Well Clinic while already under medical care, especially when they’re looking for natural ways to reduce symptoms, improve recovery, or explore new perspectives on their health.
If you feel like something is missing from your current treatment plan—or you want to understand your health more deeply—Eugene can offer that next layer of personalised, compassionate care.
Q: What makes Eugene’s approach to health different from a regular physiotherapist?
Eugene Sims is more than a physiotherapist—he’s a holistic healthcare practitioner in Warkworth, NZ, who integrates physical treatment with natural healing methods. Unlike conventional physiotherapy that often focuses on isolated symptoms, Eugene takes time to understand the whole story behind your pain.
His approach blends over 25 years of clinical experience with qualifications in physiotherapy, naturopathy, and homoeopathy. This means that whether you come in for joint pain, postural issues, or chronic conditions like osteoarthritis, you’ll receive care that considers physical, emotional, and lifestyle factors.
Clients across New Zealand value his ability to listen deeply, provide clear explanations, and develop personalised, non-invasive plans that empower long-term wellness—often without the need for medication or surgery.
Q: Is this clinic only for people with arthritis?
Not at all. While arthritis is one of the core matters—particularly osteoarthritis—Eugene and the team at the Living Well Clinic in Warkworth work with people of all ages and a wide range of health concerns. Eugene supports newborns with eczema, young adults with gut or anxiety issues, and older clients managing cancer, fatigue, or post-viral challenges.
His care extends to those dealing with vaccine-related symptoms, chronic stress, hormonal imbalances, skin conditions, immune support, and more. Every treatment is tailored to each client’s physical symptoms, emotional well-being, lifestyle, and long-term goals.
Whether you’re in your 20s or your 90s, navigating chronic illness or seeking preventative care, the Living Well Clinic offers natural, integrative solutions that support your body’s ability to heal—gently and respectfully.
